Interview Tips

The types of questions you'll be asked at Apache will vary depending on the position you're applying for. We are trying to determine your capabilities and potential for growth. Here are a few tips for interviewing with us:

• Do your homework. Understand our business, history and operating philosophy. Read our website thoroughly and take the opportunity to visit with us when we are at your campus.
• Have a list of questions about Apache and the position you are applying.
• Prepare examples that demonstrate your experience and skills. What particular achievements have you had and what type of problems have you overcome? These can be from an academic, extracurricular or work experience perspective.
• Listen carefully, think about your answers and don’t rush.
• Speak clearly and confidently. Always give clear and concise answers, don’t get side tracked with long responses or give one-word answers.
• Be on time and well rested.
• Relax and be yourself. A positive attitude and natural enthusiasm will go a long way.
• Be honest and straightforward.
