Apache Foundation was honored as the 2009 Beautification Award winner at the Mayor's Proud Partners Luncheon in Houston on Nov. 16. Apache President Roger Plank received the award on behalf of the Apache Foundation, the philanthropic unit of Apache Corporation.

When it was brought online in May 2009, Apache’s Geauxpher field roared to life at 115 million cubic feet (MMcf) of gas per day. The field continues to produce about 91 MMcf per day – 36 MMcf per day for Apache’s interest.
Apache produced 1.6 billion cubic feet of natural gas and 265,000 barrels of liquid hydrocarbons per day, and replaced 122 percent of production in 2008.
