Adding the modal overlay screen makes the dialog look more prominent because it dims out the page content.

Australia

Apache is the second largest operated volume producer of oil and gas in the Carnarvon Basin in Western Australia. We operate 16 oil and gas production facilities, providing in excess of 30 percent of the State’s domestic natural gas supply.

Logistics

Apache Energy operates in one of the most remote regions in Australia and an efficient logistics process is crucial to our business.

Road transport and warehousing

Apache uses Toll Energy as the main road transport and warehousing contractor. Goods are received at Toll’s Welshpool main depot and then transported to Dampier where goods are then transported by barge or supply vessel to our offshore locations.

Aviation

Apache is a partner in two separate aviation consortiums. One consortium is based on Barrow Island utilising rotary and fixed wing resources shared with Chevron and BHPB. This consortium services the Harriet and East Spar operations. For the Exmouth developments, Apache shares helicopter resources through the Exmouth Aviation consortium with Woodside and BHPB. These consortiums are managed by Bristow Helicopters Australia in conjunction with other aviation service providers.

The Stag and Legendre helicopter operations are provided by Jayrow Helicopters through Karratha airport.

Strict controls are in place for all logistics operations covering:

  • Dangerous Goods
  • Quarantine
  • Helicopter Underwater Escape Training (HUET) qualifications
  • Maritime Industry Security Card (MISC)
